Gon Bops Pete Engelhart Shield Bell

Gon Bops is proud to present Pete Engelhart custom percussion instruments. Made one at a time in his Berkeley, California shop, each bell is handcrafted by Pete himself and stamped with his signature. The shield bell is hand-welded and left raw, with only a clear coat to protect the metal´s surface. The instrument is then pitch-tuned by Pete´s discerning ear. More like sonic works of art, Engelhart bells only grow sweeter with age. No two bells are alike, and each one is painted red on the inside, Pete´s signature color.

Pete´s Gon Bops shield bell is fitted with the patented Gon Bops V-Clamp mounting system, which provides strength and versatility.
