Description

The ESP LTD MH-1000 Baritone electric guitar is designed to handle the extended lower range of modern metal and progressive rock with its 27” scale and typical tuning a fourth below standard (B-E-A-D-F#-B), while still retaining ideal string tension and tone. It offers neck-thru-body construction for stability and sustain, pairing an arched mahogany body and maple cap with an extra-thin “U”-shaped 3-piece maple neck. The design includes a compound radius for maximum speed and comfort, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and offset pearloid block inlays. The LTD MH-1000 Baritone’s sound is driven by a direct-mount EMG 81 humbucker at the bridge and EMG 60TW-R humbucker at the neck with coil splitting. Additional appointments include eye-catching binding on the body, neck and headstock; LTD locking tuners; a TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body; and black hardware.
